Tokens — what each plan includes
+Tokens meter the work that runs on our servers — full-site accessibility crawls and batch jobs. Everything that runs in your browser is free and unmetered. The Free plan includes 100 fixed starter tokens that do not renew; paid plans include an allowance that refreshes each billing month, and unused included tokens expire at period end.
Tokens and API credits are two different things. Tokens pay for work you start in a tool on this site. API credits pay for calls your own code makes to the REST API. They are separate balances with separate allowances, and neither one pays for the other — running out of tokens never stops your API calls, and running out of API credits never stops a crawl. Nothing converts between them, in either direction. If you only use the tools on this page you can ignore credits entirely; if you only use the API you can ignore tokens.

API credits — what a request costs, and what happens when you run out
+The REST API has its own meter, separate from tokens. One credit is one standard request. Heavier endpoints cost more credits because they cost us more to run, so a caller doing simple color maths is not subsidising one rendering images. Credits are counted per account, not per key — every key you create draws on the same monthly allowance.
Credits are not tokens. Your API credit balance and your token allowance are separate, and neither one pays for the other: spending credits on API calls never touches your tokens, and running a site crawl in a tool never touches your credits. Nothing converts between them. Side by side, they look like this.

What's included. Specialist includes 1,000,000 credits a month and Industrial Pro 10,000,000, both refreshing at the start of each billing month. Neither is unlimited: sustained around the clock these work out at roughly 22 and 224 credits a minute, so on a plan running flat out it is the monthly allowance you meet before the per-minute rate limit. They are sized for normal use, and past them prepaid pay-as-you-go takes over. Apprentice and Artisan do not include API access; a key created on those plans authenticates but is refused on metered endpoints.
Going past the allowance. By default, that's where it stops: you get a
429 telling you the allowance is used up and when it resets. Nothing is billed.
If you want calls to keep working, you can turn on pay-as-you-go overage — it is
off until you turn it on, and it is prepaid: it spends credits
already bought at $1.00 (₹85) per 100,000 credits. If the balance will not
cover a call, the call is refused rather than served on account. There is no invoice after the
fact, ever.
Two safety nets. You can set a monthly spend cap, and overage stops at it. Independently of anything you configure, every account has a hard ceiling of ten times its included allowance in one month — a backstop so a runaway retry loop or a leaked key cannot drain a balance overnight. Support can raise it for you.

Are the tools really free?

If the tools are free, what am I paying for?
+Conveniences and scale — not access. Paid plans add higher usage limits and a monthly token allowance, batch processing, the full API, full-site accessibility crawls, branded WCAG reports, watermark-free Pro exports, and priority support, with cloud sync and version history arriving as those systems ship. The tools themselves stay free for everyone.

Can I switch plans later?
+Yes. You can move up or down at any time. An upgrade starts as soon as the payment clears; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Automatic proration isn't wired up yet, so if a change leaves a real difference in your favour, contact us and we'll settle it.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
+Not currently — paid plans start billing as soon as you subscribe. The Free plan is the trial: every tool is free forever with no credit card required, so you can evaluate everything before upgrading. If a paid plan isn't right for you, cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
+We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), plus UPI and netbanking. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, with Stripe support where available.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or students?
+Yes. We offer 50% off paid plans for verified students and nonprofits. Contact us with proof of eligibility and we'll apply the discount to your account.
Billing & refunds
+Plans bill monthly or annually — annual costs 10× the monthly price, a 16.7% saving (two months free). Industrial Pro pricing can be customized based on team size, usage, and feature needs — contact sales for a tailored quote with volume discounts.
