1. Policy Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Auric Artisan uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies when you access the Platform, including color science tools, articles and learning resources, web analysis, theme generation, palette tools, visual simulations, and exploratory color models.

Plain language: We use limited browser storage to keep the site working, remember your settings, support interactive tools, and understand basic platform performance. We do not use cookies to follow you across the web.

2. What Are Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage is browser-based storage that can remember preferences such as theme, layout, or tool settings.

Some data is temporary and disappears when your session ends. Some preference data may remain until it expires, you clear it, or you change your browser settings.

3. Current Platform Status

Auric Artisan may include pricing pages, account access, billing pages, or paid access references depending on deployment status. Account sign-in uses essential first-party cookies for session and CSRF protection where enabled.

Payment providers may set their own cookies or identifiers inside official checkout, billing portal, or payment confirmation flows. Auric Artisan does not use payment cookies for advertising profiles.

Current state: Cookie use is limited to site operation, account security, preferences, tool interaction, consent storage, and privacy-friendly analytics where enabled.

4. How We Use Cookies

We group cookies and browser storage into three practical categories:

Essential — Required for consent choices, basic security, tool sessions, and reliable site operation.
Functional — Remember preferences such as dark mode, language, layout, eye-rest settings, and recently used tools.
Privacy-friendly analytics — Limited performance and usage signals that help us improve the Platform. These are not used for advertising profiles.

Web analysis and theme generation tools may temporarily process submitted URLs, visual data, palettes, performance signals, or generated outputs. These tool processes do not require marketing cookies and should not be treated as certified security, compliance, or medical analysis.

Note: Essential cookies and storage cannot be disabled through our preference panel because they are required for the Platform to function securely.

5. No Cross-Site Tracking or Marketing Pixels

Auric Artisan does not use cookies for cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling, invasive advertising, or private activity monitoring.

We do not currently use Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads remarketing cookies, or similar advertising trackers on this page.

6. Third-Party Services

Some infrastructure, security, font delivery, or privacy-friendly analytics services may receive limited technical information such as browser type, page load timing, and basic request data.

Payment, account, and subscription providers may be used where those features are enabled. Provider-controlled cookies or identifiers are governed by the provider's own terms and privacy notices.

Depending on your location, privacy laws such as the DPDP Act (India), GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, CCPA (California), and similar regulations may give you rights to understand and control how cookies and related data are used.
