Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Auric Artisan (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced from this page. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.

Auric Artisan provides color tools, color science models, articles, learning resources, visual simulations, full web analysis tools, and theme generation tools.

Web analysis features may include security-oriented checks, Lighthouse-like performance review, responsive design review, palette extraction, page structure inspection, visual analysis, and related site-quality observations.

The Platform may include 70+ vision simulation models, many color science models, palette and theme workflows, and exploratory generators such as the Ishihara-style generator.

Auric Artisan is actively developed and its feature set continues to grow. The current status of the Platform’s account and payment services is as follows:

• Account registration, sign-in, and the account dashboard are live
• One-time purchases — plan passes and advertising bookings — are live, processed by Razorpay through the official checkout. Token packs are not currently on sale
• Plan access is sold as a one-time purchase covering a billing period. Nothing renews automatically and no payment mandate is stored — when a period ends, access reverts to the free tier unless you buy another. Where these Terms and the Subscription & Billing Policy say “subscription”, they mean that plan record and its billing period, not a recurring charge
• Every tool is free on every tier; paid plans add conveniences, never tool access
• Programmatic (API) access is included from the Specialist plan upward and is metered in API credits against a finite monthly allowance — no plan carries an unlimited API allowance for subscriptions started on or after 12 August 2026
• Features may change, move, pause, or be refined as the Platform evolves

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Auric Artisan complies with laws, permissions, and consent requirements in their jurisdiction.

Some parts of the Platform may be publicly viewable, while some services may require registration, authentication, or other access controls. Access requirements may vary by tool, region, infrastructure readiness, and operational capacity.

If you create or use an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials, keeping recovery details current, and for all activity conducted through your account.

Account features may support saved projects, generated themes, reports, exports, preferences, billing status, API keys, and access to additional tools. Account data is handled according to the Privacy Policy, Data Retention & Deletion Policy, and Security Policy.

The Platform must not be used for unlawful activity, harassment, abuse, spam, unauthorized access, attempts to bypass controls, or actions that disrupt the Platform or other systems.

Users may not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, copy, resell, or redistribute Platform tools, models, interfaces, code, branding, or proprietary systems without written permission.

Web analysis tools are intended for legitimate review of websites, pages, designs, assets, and properties that you own, manage, or are explicitly authorized to test.

• Do not scan, test, probe, or analyze third-party systems without permission
• Do not use findings to exploit, attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system
• Do not use the Platform for vulnerability exploitation, credential abuse, or malicious automation
• Security-oriented observations are informational and do not replace a certified security audit
• Performance, accessibility, responsive design, and quality observations are guidance only

Users retain ownership of content they create, upload, or submit, including palettes, themes, screenshots, page inputs, reports, designs, text, exports, and generated assets, subject to any third-party rights involved in the source material.

Auric Artisan receives only the limited permission needed to process submitted content, generate outputs, display results, improve reliability, and operate the Platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit or export does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, contractual, or other third-party rights.

Color science models, vision simulations, generated palettes, web analysis results, theme suggestions, and related outputs are informational and exploratory. They are provided “as-is” and may contain inaccuracies, limitations, or context-dependent results.

Outputs must not be used as a substitute for certified medical, legal, governmental, accessibility, security, industrial, regulatory, or safety-critical review.

The Ishihara-style generator is provided only for exploration and visual experimentation. It is not a clinical tool, does not diagnose color vision conditions, and does not replace real medical-grade Ishihara plates or evaluation by a qualified professional.

Auric Artisan sells one-time plan passes, token packs, and advertising bookings. All payments are processed by Razorpay, the Platform’s payment processor, through the official checkout, supporting cards, UPI, and netbanking in INR. The price, duration, and inclusions of a purchase are shown at checkout before payment. Recurring subscriptions and automatic renewals are not yet offered.

Tokens and API credits. The Platform meters two separate balances. Tokens pay for server-backed work you start in a tool on this site and are what a token pack contains; API credits pay for calls your own code makes to the REST API. They are separate balances, neither one pays for the other, and nothing converts between them.

Metered API usage. Programmatic access to the Platform through the REST API is included from the Specialist plan upward and is metered in API credits: one credit per standard request, weighted upward for requests that consume more computing resources. Each eligible plan includes a finite monthly API credit allowance, published on the Pricing page and in the API documentation. When an allowance is exhausted, further API requests are refused; they are not billed.

Pay-as-you-go overage beyond the included allowance is optional, disabled by default, and prepaid. It can only spend API credits purchased in advance, is subject to a spend cap you set and to an absolute monthly ceiling of ten times the included allowance, and produces no invoice after the fact. Auric Artisan does not create a debt for API usage that was not funded in advance. Industrial Pro subscriptions created before 12 August 2026 retain the unlimited API allowance they were sold. Pricing, billing, cancellation, taxes, and refund terms are governed by the Subscription & Billing Policy and Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase, including the 7-day money-back window on one-time plan purchases.

The Platform may rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, infrastructure, security, rendering, or other operational needs. Auric Artisan is not responsible for third-party outages, changes, content, policies, or service behavior.

Auric Artisan may modify, pause, remove, or restructure tools, models, reports, simulations, pages, or services at any time, especially while infrastructure is under development.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auric Artisan is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform, reliance on outputs, service interruption, data loss, or third-party service issues.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Where applicable, Auric Artisan aims to align its data practices with relevant privacy and technology laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect platform changes, infrastructure development, legal requirements, or new services. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Content & Intellectual Property Policy, and other referenced policies, form the agreement between you and Auric Artisan.
